About Marvell

Marvell’s semiconductor solutions are the essential building blocks of the data infrastructure that connects our world. Across enterprise, cloud and AI, and carrier architectures, our innovative technology is enabling new possibilities.

At Marvell, you can affect the arc of individual lives, lift the trajectory of entire industries, and fuel the transformative potential of tomorrow. For those looking to make their mark on purposeful and enduring innovation, above and beyond fleeting trends, Marvell is a place to thrive, learn, and lead.

Your Team, Your Impact

Marvell Custom Solutions develops cutting-edge solutions for large AI, cloud data center, and telecom customers. The SoCs encompass best-in-class performance, advanced die-to-die and packaging technology, and optimized low-power techniques.
We are seeking a SoC / RTL Low-Power Expert who serves as the final technical authority for power behavior across the full silicon lifecycle. This role owns power architecture, RTL power intent, estimation, correlation, and power sign-off, including situations where specifications or workloads are evolving.
This team hires some of the biggest problem solvers in Silicon and has a huge impact on the work done at Marvell. The customers served by this team are often other chip companies and big tech companies, familiar names to all candidates.

What You Can Expect

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own SoC and subsystem power architecture and power tradeoffs
  • Lead and enforce low-power RTL design practices
  • Drive RTL and early power estimation with realistic workload assumptions
  • Own power correlation across RTL, gate, and post-PnR stages
  • Serve as final escalation point for power issues
  • Make and defend power sign-off and tape-out decisions
  • Supervise or mentor other digital design engineers.
What This Role Is Not
  • Not a power tool operator role
  • Not a UPF-only specialist role
  • Not limited to EM/IR or backend stages
  • Not dependent on fully finalized specifications to act

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related fields and 12+ years of related professional experience. Master’s degree in electrical engineering or related fields with 10+ years of experience. PhD in Electrical Engineering or related fields with 8+ years of experience.
  • Deep expertise in SoC / RTL low-power design
  • Proven ownership of power closure on large designs
  • Ability to predict power behavior and risks before tool analysis
  • Experience resolving conflicting power data across design stages
  • Trusted technical authority across architecture, RTL, verification, and physical design

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

182,360 - 273,200, $ per annum

The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
