ProSync is seeking a passionate SOC Manager who will be responsible for cyber defense operations, monitoring, threat analysis, incident response, and management of security tools supporting a live security operations center (SOC).

RESPONSIBILITIES

The PM provides strategic oversight of cyber defense and monitoring missions, ensuring high‑quality security operations.

  • Oversees SOC operations, incident management frameworks, and service delivery excellence.
  • Serves as strategic engagement point with DoS leadership for cyber response capabilities.
  • Ensures resources meet mission demands for monitoring, response, threat hunting, and intelligence.

  • SOC performance monitoring
  • Incident response workflows
  • Threat intelligence operations
  • Daily reporting, dashboards, and executive summaries
  • SIEM tuning and monitoring optimization

Requirements
  • 7+ years' experience with SOC or Cyber Operations.
  • A CISSP, GCIA, GCIH or equivalent certification is required.
  • Experience with SIEM administration, log analysis, threat detection.
  • A minimum Secret security clearance is required to be considered for this position with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance. (We are not able to sponsor candidates for a security clearance)

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in any field. (A degree in a technical field is preferred.)

Skills Required

  • 7+ years of experience with SOC or cyber operations
