We are looking for a seasoned digital design leader to drive the architecture, design, and execution of advanced SoC and chiplet solutions powering the future of AI and high-performance computing. This role blends technical depth with strategic oversight, and offers a unique opportunity to shape methodology, mentor engineers, and lead multi-disciplinary collaboration at scale.
This role is hybrid, based out of Toronto, Ottawa or Boston.

Who You Are
- A senior digital design expert with hands-on RTL experience and a sharp eye for system-level architecture.
- A natural leader who enjoys mentoring teams across geographies and disciplines.
- Someone that is deeply familiar with SoC-level concepts like CPU integration, security, and boot processes.
- Comfortable working across IP boundaries — from Ethernet to AXI/CHI, and everything in between.
What We Need
- A director to lead and grow a high-performance digital design team building next-gen chiplets.
- Technical ownership of RTL development, methodology definition, and design quality.
- Strong collaboration across firmware, hardware, and verification to drive end-to-end execution.
- Proven ability to manage schedules, mitigate risk, and deliver complex SoC programs.

Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets. Experience, skills, education, background and location all impact the actual offer made.
