Staff Engineer

As a Solution Engineering - SoC CAD Flow & EDA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for strategic decision on floorplan methodology, defining, developing, and deploying next-gen methodology and automation for next-gen SOCs. Your work will drive meticulous optimization of tools and flows for power, performance, area, signoff, and silicon quality, collaborating with foundry, EDA, and ecosystem partners at the forefront of 3nm/2nm technodes and multi-die solutions.
We are currently hiring across two locations: Austin, and San Diego.
Responsibilities:

• Drive and develop define SoC design flows and automation for optimization of floorplan, including power delivery networks, structured clocks, custom routes, low power structures to deliver high performance with robust IR, power and area.
• Deliver full design CAD solutions by analyzing requirements, including internal development and integration of external EDA tools.
• Demonstrate proficiency in one or more domains: advanced technology nodes, power delivery networks, or hierarchical designs or low power design
• Collaborate closely with foundry, EDA, and ecosystem partners to ensure best-in-class silicon solutions.
• Integrate innovative industry tools and internally developed statistical, analytical algorithms, and machine learning methodologies to identify and refine performance bottlenecks.

Required Skills and Experience :

• Strong coding skills in Tcl, Python, C with demonstrated algorithm and data structure development experience.
• Experience in SoC design flows, SoC level floorplan and high-performance core design methodologies.
• Proficiency with process technology design rules
• Ability to integrate EDA tools into automation frameworks, including qualification and release processes.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, distributed processing, and disk management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and adaptability to evolving challenges.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork abilities, with a proven track record of effective collaboration across multi-functional teams.

"Nice To Have" Skills and Experience :

• Expertise in advanced algorithms, optimization technologies, and physical design subject areas.
• Deep understanding of advanced clocking structures and design convergence processes.
• Experience in data analytics, dashboard creation, and metrics development.

Salary Range:
$191,100-$258,500 per year
