We are looking for a SOC Analyst to join us at Telia Cygate.

My name is Martin Spiik, Head of Security Services, and I’m looking for someone who wants to grow together with us. We are a supportive and forward-looking team focused on helping our customers detect, understand, and respond to cyber threats through advanced security monitoring and incident response.

What you’ll do:

As a Security Analyst in our Security Operations Center (SOC), you will play a key role in protecting our customers against cyber threats. You will work closely with a national team of security specialists, analyzing security events, investigating suspicious activity, and improving our ability to detect and respond to attacks.

In this role, you will also be part of our Incident Response Team (IRT), including participation in an on-call duty outside regular working hours.

You will:

  • Identify, prioritize, and manage security events and incidents
  • Assess new vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate mitigation actions
  • Contribute to development and improving detection rules, use cases, and analytical methods
  • Understand the threat landscape facing our customers and identify potential attacker behaviors
  • Be responsible for a handful of customers where you participate in customer meetings, present security findings and reports, and contribute to strengthening their cyber resilience

You are curious about how attacks work and enjoy understanding systems at a deep technical level. You approach challenges analytically, base decisions on facts, and are not afraid to ask questions, challenge old ways of working, and contribute with new ideas that help the team move forward.

We believe you have:

  • Previous experience working in a SOC, CSIRT, or CERT environment
  • Experience analyzing network logs from tools such as Zeek and Suricata
  • Knowledge of security monitoring, threat detection, and digital forensics in Windows and Linux environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in Swedish (native or near-native) and good English
