SOC Analyst - Level 2

Position Details

We are looking for a full-time Level 2 SOC Analyst to join our Security Operations Center team.  The ideal candidate will serve as the first line of defense, monitoring and responding to cybersecurity alerts, assisting with incident identification and escalation, and supporting the broader security team in maintaining our customers security posture.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

• 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations (i.e. Threat hunting & response)
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+/Network+, CySA+, CEH or similar.

• Strong experience utilizing security tools such as IDS/IPS, firewalls, Vulnerability Scanners, NGAV, XDR.
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, etc.).
• Ability to analyze logs and alerts, identify patterns, respond and escalate incidents to higher tiers
• Knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK frame and Cyber Kill Chain.
• Experienced in the configuration and use of EDR, Firewalls, Cloud integrations in an XDR platform.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written English and verbal communication skills. Fluency in multiples languages is an asset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment (shift work may be required).
