We currently have a vacancy for a SOA Operations Specialist in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Luxembourg. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Your tasks
- Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot middleware systems;
- Manage complex SOA and heterogeneous systems;
- Define configuration management and deployment strategies for SOA infrastructure;
- Ensure availability and stability of production environments;
- Design and implement DevSecOps capabilities (e.g.: observability, continuous monitoring, tractability);
- Work closely with Architecture, Application Development, Database, Server and Networking Team;
- Manage day to day deployment and maintenance activities.
- University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in IT;
- Experience in user support;
- Excellent knowledge of Middleware systems (e.g. Weblogic Application Server, Oracle Service Bus);
- Excellent knowledge of messaging services and platforms (e.g. Java Message Service, Apache Kafka);
- Excellent knowledge in of UNIX shell script;
- Excellent knowledge of JEE (development and architecture of java web-based applications, application servers, JEE security, XML, JMS and web services technology etc.);
- Excellent knowledge of administration of Weblogic middleware solutions (Application servers, OSB);
- Good knowledge in development and maintenance of system interoperability based on SOA principles;
- Good knowledge in development of the toolset for Release Orchestration and Continuous Deployment pipelines;
- Good knowledge of RDBMS;
- One of the following certifications would be considered an asset: Weblogic Administration, Oracle SQL, Kubernetes and AWS;
- Excellent command of the English and French language.
