As a Senior Project Manager/Scrum Master, you will directly report to an IT Delivery Manager. You will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of your projects, ensuring consistency with the company's project methodology, organizational strategy, commitments, and goals.
Due to the responsibilities of this position, you must be able to work a minimum of 3 days a week at our beautiful Deerfield Beach, FL headquarters.
Responsibilities
Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and project methodology.
Define project scope, objectives, tasks, resource requirements, and full-scale project plans.
Establish, coordinate, and oversee project teams while managing conflicts and providing direction to internal teams and external vendors.
Plan and manage project timelines, deliverables, and quality assurance, identifying risks and issues with proactive mitigation and resolution strategies to ensure effective project management.
Track project progress using appropriate tools and regularly report status, risks, and solutions to stakeholders.
Implement and manage project changes to achieve project goals.
In Agile Environments:
Guide and coach teams on Agile frameworks and practices, promoting continuous improvement and Scrum maturity.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
Remove impediments to maintain team productivity by coordinating with external parties as needed.
Manage the Scrum Board, foster internal communication, and support effective collaboration.
Act as a Servant Leader and Change Agent, helping teams embrace changes while ensuring deliverables meet quality standards at the end of each sprint.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field (required).
Minimum 5 years of experience working on projects and Scrum teams.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent, with PMP certification.
Advanced knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and familiarity with SDLC concepts.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proven critical thinking, decision-making, problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
Excellent servant leadership, change management, planning, and coordination skills.
Comfortable working in dynamic, ambiguous environments.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project) and Azure DevOps.
