Primary Functions:
∙Managing the Research assignments of the company
∙Assisting with the preparation of consultancy assignments
∙Advertising and representing the agency and its services to clients
∙Assist with business growth and development initiatives/planning
Responsibilities by Function:
Business Development
∙Prepare and pitch research proposals for new and existing clients based on agreed targets
Planning and Design
∙Identify and determine the scope of marketing research needs, including secondary research and
research design/implementation
∙Selecting the most appropriate research methodology and techniques
∙Formulating research proposal and presenting it to the client or senior management
∙Designing qualitative and quantitative research plans
Executing
∙Designing questionnaires and moderator guides to ensure the necessary data is captured
∙Conducting qualitative or quantitative surveys, which may involve field, interview or focus group
assessments;
∙Writing and managing the distribution of surveys and questionnaires
∙Briefing interviewers and researchers
∙Liaising with and managing survey staff
∙Moderating focus groups
∙Using statistical software to manage and organise information
∙Monitoring the progress of research projects
∙Oversee the fieldwork initiative
Reporting
∙Conducting in-depth data analyses using traditional and advanced methods
∙Interpreting data, writing reports, and making actionable recommendations
∙Making presentations—answering questions and instilling confidence
∙Manage all aspects of qualitative and quantitative consumer research
∙Analyze and interpreting data to identify patterns and solutions, including surveys and focus
group transcripts
∙Writing detailed reports including related recommendations and presenting results
Requirements
Experience and Requirements include:
∙Bachelors or advanced degree in research, business or the sciences
∙A minimum of 5 years’ experience in survey design, execution and analysis.
∙Good working knowledge of analytical and statistical tools to analyze and interpret data,
(SPSS/SAS), MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software.
∙Ability to design and execute multiple research projects simultaneously.
∙Must be a strategic thinker with strong organizational and analytical skills.
∙Ability to work independently on projects in a fast-paced environment
∙Exceptional written and oral communication abilities
∙Highly motivated, flexible and adaptable nature.
