Our Snow Equipment Operators and Drivers are part-time, seasonal employees who work on an on‑call basis during snow events. In this role, you will report to the assigned Production Manager and support snow and ice management operations across multiple property types, including commercial, industrial, institutional, government, and corporate sites.
- Perform snow removal services on paved parking lots, access roads, loading docks, walkways, and other designated areas.
- Operate plow trucks and/or heavy equipment according to your qualifications and certifications.
- Utilize all equipment safely and in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
- Spread salt, deicers, and other materials using spreaders and related application equipment.
- Assist the snow removal team with loading and unloading materials, tools, and supplies.
- Fuel equipment and perform routine/basic maintenance on assigned machinery.
- Protect company assets from loss, damage, theft, or misuse.
- Maintain confidentiality of company information and comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and business ethics standards.
- Minimum three (3) years of professional commercial snow removal experience.
- Reliable transportation to job sites or the designated branch location.
- Must pass a driver’s license screening (and meet company driving standards if operating company vehicles).
- Ability to work safely in environments with active vehicle traffic.
- Willingness to work overtime or extended shifts when required by Operations Management.
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions, including freezing temperatures, high winds, and snow accumulation.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs and perform continuous physical movements, including bending, stooping, and twisting.
- Must have excellent vision; corrective lenses are acceptable if they allow for optimal vision.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited inside company equipment, on job sites, and within branch facilities.
- Outdoor work in severe winter conditions.
- Frequent exposure to ice, snow, cold temperatures, and moving automotive equipment.
- Extended periods of sitting, standing, or operating machinery.
- Shift lengths may vary depending on storm duration and operational needs.

- Competitive rate matching when recruiting an operator from a competitor.
