Wells Fargo is seeking a Principal Digital Product Manager for its Secure Network Services Innovation and Automation (SNIA) group. The Principal Digital Product Manager will be responsible for providing end-to-end strategic leadership, vision, and execution oversight across a portfolio of applications that enable the enterprise's network infrastructure, secure connectivity, network security, and automation services. This role defines and drives the portfolio roadmap and maintains operational reliability while aligning to enterprise modernization strategies.
In this role, you will:
- Act as a top subject matter expert to lead digital products, initiatives, for a functional area within the digital environment with enterprise impact, high risk and/or with significant scope, cost, and benefits
- Lead the strategy and resolution of the most complex and significant development and execution of digital business plans, programs and initiatives which have significant impact across multiple areas or the enterprise
- Deliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale, broad-reaching, and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking
- Coordinate highly complex activities and resolution
- Provide vision, leadership, and industry expertise regarding digital strategy for product/functionality/experience area
- Influence, digital strategy for the business line or enterprise that significantly impacts the organization's business and financial operations
- Strategically lead all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise
- Serve as an expert advisor to leadership
- Represent the company externally in industry networking and trade and technical events
- Lead the transformation of the application portfolio toward a modern, efficient, and strategically aligned ecosystem, ensuring high performance and operational resiliency.
- Work closely with product owners, engineering leaders, architects, and business partners to maximize portfolio value and deliver meaningful business outcomes.
- Provide strong risk, dependency, and issue management to coordinate large, complex initiatives.
- Communicate consistently and effectively with senior leadership on portfolio performance, modernization progress and risk posture.
- Serve as a key partner in evolving the organization toward a model state product and portfolio operating framework.
- Demonstrate excellent relationship management and influencing skills to build cross enterprise- alignment and commitment.
- Navigate ambiguity while ensuring the portfolio consistently aligns with enterprise technology, risk and compliance expectations.
- 10+ years of digital product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Experience establishing a vision, developing strategy to support the vision, and driving action towards the vision through effective management of roadmap, goals, and objectives.
- Advanced level of experience including writing user stories, features, and prioritizing work to align to product roadmap.
- Advanced level experience in driving automation across a suite of software development tools and applications
- Expertise in strong executive-level communication skills.
- Experience in transitioning organizations to modern product and portfolio management practices, including Agile methodologies.
- Strong understanding of application lifecycle management, modernization frameworks, and operational risk.
- Proficiency with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and tools such as Jira.
- Bachelors degree in information systems, Technology Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Ability to work a hybrid work schedule - 3 days a week on-site/in office and 2 days a week remote.

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$185,000.00 - $300,000.00
