Job Description

As an SMM Brand Evangelist, you will build a visible, credible, and recognisable AUTODOC presence across social media. You actively join relevant automotive conversations, identify the right moment to engage, and craft precise, natural, brand‑safe comments — without generic or overly promotional language.

You will own the entire active‑commenting workflow: from monitoring and idea generation to publishing comments, continuing conversations, and evaluating results.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Social Listening & Monitoring: Track Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms, as well as content from automotive creators, brands, motorsport, and car culture to identify timely and relevant conversation opportunities.
  • Content Selection: Choose posts, Reels, videos, and comment threads where AUTODOC can participate naturally, prioritising content with a clear link to the automotive category.
  • Short‑Form Copywriting: Create and adapt concise comments (3–12 words) tailored to each platform, market, and cultural context. Use specific vehicle details, owner experiences, or cultural references to ensure authenticity.

  • Community Interaction: Respond to users and other brands, continue high‑potential conversations, and turn successful interactions into repeatable communication formats.

  • Fact‑Checking & Tools: Quickly verify automotive facts and references; use approved AI tools to speed up research, generate wording options, and check tone.

  • Brand Safety: Work autonomously within brand‑safety guidelines; escalate customer‑support, legal, sensitive, or reputational‑risk matters promptly.

  • Tracking & Reporting: Maintain a log of published comments, capture key learnings, and recommend improvements to the channel strategy.

Qualifications

  • At least two years of experience in social media, community management, editorial content, or a comparable role involving real‑time audience engagement.
  • Strong automotive knowledge: Understands vehicle models, parts, and owner experiences and can quickly verify technical information.
  • Excellent short‑form copywriting skills: Able to craft distinctive, natural comments without generic corporate language.
  • Platform expertise: Deep understanding of formats, trends, memes, and dynamics across Instagram, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.
  • Social listening & opportunity spotting: Able to identify relevant content early, before conversations lose momentum.
  • Excellent judgement & brand safety awareness: Knows when humour works, when escalation is needed, and when not to engage; avoids toxic or forced communication.
  • High autonomy, speed, and collaboration: Takes ownership of the full workflow and works effectively with Social Media, Brand, and Customer Support teams.
  • Cross‑market adaptation skills: Able to create and adapt comments for different markets, considering local context, humour, tone, cultural sensitivities, and platform conventions. Fluency in all market languages is not required, but ensuring natural, accurate localisation is essential.
  • Language skills: English at C1 level. Working proficiency in Russian or Ukrainian is a plus for daily team collaboration.
