Job Description:

Principal Responsibilities

• Solicit CPOE requirements and recommend solutions.  

• Act as a liaison between clinical and technical groups.

• Research, identify, and specify solutions.

• Support the configuration elements of a CPOE solution design.

Qualifications/Skills

Required:

• Inpatient hospital experience as a nurse or doctor. Bonus would be experience in a mental health facility.

• Experience using multiple electronic order entry systems, including an electronic MAR.

• Knowledge of nursing practices and workflows.

• Experience translating inpatient workflows to electronic workflows while providing recommendations.

Preferred: 

• Knowledge of Joint Commission/CMS requirements and regulatory standards.

• Delivering hands on training during the implementation of CPOE.

• Exposure/experience to CPOE implementations

• Inpatient auditing experience

• Mental Health or psychiatric inpatient facility experience
