Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, the Account Manager will focus on existing customer growth by identifying and selling expansion business opportunities. Working closely with the customer success and marketing teams, you will ensure revenue growth in our existing book of business. Through regular client meetings and strategic planning, you will provide clients with tailored solutions and support. This position will primarily be an inside role but may require occasional travel.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

First 30 Days

  • Gain a complete understanding of the company’s products and value proposition.
  • Become proficient in the company’s CRM tools and sales methodology.
  • Observe client meetings and sales presentations conducted by current team members.
  • Develop knowledge of current client accounts and ongoing projects.
  • Gain an understanding of the company’s organizational structure.
  • Review the client portfolio and begin to gain an initial understanding of key accounts.

First 60 Days

  • Work with the customer success team to understand the current customer landscape.
  • Master the discovery and the sales pitch for different products, overcome common objections, and articulate the company’s value proposition.
  • Begin to close add on business from inbound sources.
  • Manage your business in the CRM system.
  • Complete all other onboarding activities as required.

First 120+ Days

  • Continuing to close add on business to existing clients.
  • Prospecting new add on opportunities.
  • Meeting with partners and clients.
  • Developing and executing account strategies.
  • Celebrating successes!

Seeking an Account Manager with these previous experiences and capabilities:

  • Must be energetic, well-spoken, and eager to build strong client relationships and drive revenue growth.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • At least one year of experience in account management, sales, or customer success.
  • Track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong phone presence and communication skills.
  • Proficient with corporate productivity tools and CRM systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong listening and presentation skills.
