Printpack Rhinelander - an industry leader in flexible packaging - is looking for a qualified candidate to fill our Slitter Operator position. The ideal candidate will possess initiative, communication and computer skills, as well as the ability to troubleshoot issues.
- Operate a slitter at or above plant EFM goals while meeting all safety
- requirements
- Run quality product/identify quality issues
- Use PRISM to move orders/product through finishing dept
- Ability to learn/use the automated roll handling system integrated with the slitter
- Participate in preventative maintenance of slitters and automated roll handling system
- Have fine visual discrimination skills including color
- Ability to understand layout and specifications
- Ability to learn process troubleshooting skills and apply troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to learn/use PRISM
- Troubleshoot the slitters and integrated automated roll handling system
