Job Description:
The Business Development Representative (BDR) for Lenovo SLED (State, Local, and Education) plays a critical role in driving pipeline growth, partner engagement, and go-to-market execution across the public sector. This role acts as a strategic connector between internal teams, vendor partners, and channel partners—leveraging market intelligence, account insights, and relationship development to identify, influence, and accelerate revenue opportunities.
What You'll Be Doing
Channel & Partner Engagement
- Support Arrow Channel Managers, Supplier Managers, and SLED Field Representatives in executing partner-led growth initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners across mid-market, enterprise, and national accounts.
- Collaborate closely with vendor account teams (e.g., Lenovo, OEMs) to align on sales motions and growth priorities.
- Act as a trusted liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners to drive coordinated execution.
- Continuously expand foundational knowledge of vendor technologies and complete required certifications/training to enhance credibility.
Market Intelligence & Pipeline Development
- Execute Market Intelligence (MI) strategies to identify new sales opportunities and support pipeline generation.
- Analyze and track deal registrations to ensure visibility into emerging opportunities and partner activity.
- Assist in planning and executing pilot programs and go-to-market initiatives to validate and scale new approaches.
- Support renewal and upsell opportunities by leveraging data-driven insights and account trends.
- Develop working proficiency in MI tools and systems to independently run searches, extract insights, and provide actionable recommendations.
Account Mapping & Territory Alignment
- Conduct detailed account mapping exercises using tools such as Salesforce (SFDC) and Power BI to align partners to target accounts.
- Identify whitespace, expansion opportunities, and partner-account mismatches to optimize coverage and execution.
- Support strategic territory planning by ensuring accurate account ownership, engagement strategy, and partner alignment.
Reporting, Analytics & Forecasting
- Monitor pipeline activity and performance through Salesforce dashboards and reporting tools.
- Generate forecasts and business insights to inform leadership decisions and partner strategy.
- Maintain data accuracy and consistency across systems to ensure reliable reporting.
Event & Campaign Support
- Participate in Arrow and vendor-sponsored events to build relationships and drive demand generation.
- Leverage Market Intelligence to support pre-event targeting and post-event follow-up activities.
- Assist in coordinating outreach campaigns tied to events, webinars, and regional initiatives.
Contracts & Program Awareness
- Develop a foundational understanding of SLED procurement vehicles and contract structures.
- Support conversations with partners and customers by articulating contract positioning and value at a high level.
Go-To-Market Execution & Partner Growth
- Deliver go-to-market messaging and presentations aligned to specific vendors, technologies, and target accounts.
- Support partner enablement by sharing market insights, opportunity trends, and sales plays.
- Contribute to growth initiatives by aligning internal resources with partner execution plans.
Principal Accountabilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across Arrow, partners, and vendor
- Support the development and execution of sales strategies tailored to specific partners and market segments.

Experience & Qualifications
Typically requires a minimum of 4 years of related experience with a 4 year degree; or 6 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent experience.
Work Arrangement
Fully Remote: Must be able to travel to an Arrow office location as requested by Arrow leadership.
