Qualification & Experience:
As a Data Architect, he/she should understand business processes and technical architecture of Airbus Skywise landscape (developed on BigData Spark framework - Palantir Foundry solution) and define/suggest best practices and Golden rules. Your area of responsibility will extend to development, deep technology root cause analysis, performance improvement and source code auditing.
The candidate will work in an international, distributed and multi-functional team; using an agile mind-set and methodology.
Roles and responsibilities:
Solution Design and Development: Design and architect robust, scalable, and efficient solutions on the Airbus Skywise platform to meet business requirements. This includes data ingestion, storage, processing, analytics, and visualization components.
Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams working on Skywise projects, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards.
Platform Expertise: Maintain deep technical expertise in the Skywise platform, its components, APIs, and data models. Stay up-to-date with new features and functionalities.
Data Architecture: Define and implement data architectures within Skywise, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security.
Integration: Design and implement integrations between Skywise and other enterprise systems.
Performance Optimization: Identify and implement strategies to optimize the performance and scalability of Skywise solutions.
Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, data scientists, data engineers, and other IT teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for Skywise solutions and architectures.
Qualifications:
Graduate with 8+ years of experience in BigData/Skywise Technologies.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Support or customer service.
Very good knowledge of standard Python and Java programming.
Data pipeline development utilizing Spark fundamentals, both in its Java or Python version (SQL and Mesa is a plus).
Extensive understanding of Scala, ElasticSearch, PySpark, Pandas, Rubix (Kubernetes).

A background in designing and developing high-quality server side processing in Python. An understanding of how to ensure these applications are robust, with easy to navigate code, and reusable components.
Knowledge of SQL and relational databases and PostgreSQL is a plus
Experience working in an Agile team, practicing Scrum, Kanban or XP is appreciated (SAFe framework is a plus)
Practical experience of delivering good quality code within enterprise scale development
Experience working with Splunk platform for monitoring purposes would be a plus
Experience in other programing languages, specifically Java and Scala would be helpful
Experience and understanding of web front end development (JavaScript, CSS, HTML) would be a plus
Good problem solving and analytical skills
Customer facing skill. Worked with European customers
Experience / Knowledge on Palantir foundry will be an added advantage.
