What You'll Be Doing:
- Innovate & Elevate: Spearheading our research and development efforts, designing technology that supports novel investment strategies. This is about building smarter, not just building more.
- Strategize & Collaborate: Work closely with subject matter experts across the company to come up with new technology solutions. Your contributions will shape the direction of the business as a whole, with lots of opportunity for impact as you’ll be working directly with one of the founders.
- Data and Research-Driven Discovery: Develop tools to extract and enrich data from diverse sources. Use cutting edge technologies in your work. Your team is a startup within a startup.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Tech-Savvy & Curious: You have a solid foundation in computer science and deep curiosity for solving challenging problems. You’re not just looking to code—you’re looking to innovate.
- Proven Experience: 4+ years of experience in an object-oriented language (Python is our go-to), advanced SQL skills, and familiarity with various databases.
- Cloud Knowledge: You’re comfortable in cloud environments like GCP and AWS, and have hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, BigQuery, and other cloud solutions.
- Pragmatic & Strategic: You’re data-driven and pragmatic, understanding that technology is a means to an end. You can balance technical excellence with practical business needs.
- Quick Thinker & Team Player: You learn fast, think on your feet, and aren’t afraid to ask the tough questions. You enjoy collaborating and know that the best solutions come from diverse perspectives.
