Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handle all aspects of lesson activities while providing a safe, fun and professional learning and working environment
- Responsible for training and assigning work
- Create and maintain instructor schedules
- Handle general line-up, operations and on-snow tasks
- Monitors lesson groups to ensure quality and safety
- Complete daily reports for payroll
- Teach lessons as needed
- Other assigned duties
- Promote and emphasize safety in all classes
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- At least two years of experience as a ski or snowboard instructor is required
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- At least one year of experience in a leadership or team-building role is preferred
- Knowledge of snow sport school products and procedures
- Expert skill in skiing or snowboarding
- PSIA/AASI Membership in good standing is preferred
- Must be available to work 4 days per week, including holidays and weekends
- This position often requires standing and skiing or snowboarding for extended periods of time, in various weather conditions
Skills Required
- At least two years of experience as a ski or snowboard instructor
- At least 18 years of age
- Knowledge of snow sport school products and procedures
- Expert skill in skiing or snowboarding
- Availability to work four days per week, including holidays and weekends
- At least one year of leadership or team-building experience
- PSIA/AASI membership in good standing
