Bring Six Sigma methodology and analytics into organizational operations in order to accomplish business objectives. This includes working with Six Sigma-certified professionals in the plan, design and accomplishment of key projects. Incumbents matched to this function require accredited Six Sigma training.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Drive Six Sigma quality culture in the organization
- Lead and oversees work performed by a team of Six Sigma practitioners & project managers in aligned span
- Tracks and ensures that process improvement goals in aligned span are met and relevant initiatives are launched to support attainment of critical business objectives
- Leads functional or segment teams or projects
- Frontlines and collaborates well with leaders and with Stateside business partners
- Pro-actively identifies patterns in issues and research root-cause to improve overall quality
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline
- Work Experience:
- Leadership - people management experience of at least 3 years
- Extensive work experience in Six Sigma and CI projects (10+ years), 12+ years total work experience
- Experience in projects involving emerging technologies (automation, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Artificial Intellgience, etc)
- Experience solving major project or customer issues
- Proven excellent communication & presentation skills
- Demonstrated experience in change management
- Extensive experience in working with stakeholders across leadership levels
- Skills/Attributes:
- Ability to clearly describes the way they approach aligning their team including shared goals, team building and more
- Ability to network within their team, department, organization, industry and community
- Ability to advocate with senior leaders for change or for a new idea
- Ability to highlight the possibilities that exist, while acknowleding difficulties will exist when deciding
Ability to seek to understand the 'why' behind decisions, provides examples of when they have done so and how they translated this to the team - Ability to help the team learn from mistakes and errors, rarely repeating any

- Ability to provide the team with guidance about what is expected, as well as a common starting point for shared work
- Ability to make decisions that yield productive or positive outcomes most of the time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification from a recognized certification body or previous organization
