Job OverviewWe are seeking a responsible, disciplined, and hands-on Site Supervisor to oversee daily site operations and ensure construction projects are executed safely, smoothly, and according to specifications. The ideal candidate will manage workers, interpret site drawings, and ensure work quality and deadlines are met.
Key Responsibilities- Daily Site Supervision: Oversee and manage daily construction activities, site workers, and sub-contractors on-site.
- Drawing Interpretation: Read, analyze, and implement structural, architectural, and technical drawings directly on-site.
- Technical Execution: Draft basic technical sketches or markups when required to solve immediate site layout or detail issues.
- Quality & Safety Control: Ensure all work performed meets project specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Progress Reporting: Track daily work progress, update project managers on site status, and highlight potential delays or site issues.
- Material & Equipment Management: Inspect incoming site materials, monitor tool usage, and coordinate site deliveries.
- Demographics / Background: Male, Malay.
- Experience: Prior experience in site supervision, civil work, or construction management is preferred.
- Transportation: Must possess a valid driving license (Class D) and own an automatic car (willing to travel/commute to various site locations).
- Soft Skills: Highly disciplined, hardworking, responsible, strong leadership, and effective communication skills to manage site workers.
- Technical Drawing: Proficient in reading, interpreting, and working with engineering/architectural blueprints and CAD/site drawings.
- Drafting Capabilities: Ability to perform basic manual or digital technical sketching and measurement verification on-site.
- Construction Operations: Familiarity with site preparation, structural work, finishing, safety regulations (OSHA standards), and quality checks.
- Site Management Tools: Proficiency with basic measurement tools (laser distance meters, leveling equipment) and reporting software/messaging tools for site updates.
Skills Required
- Prior experience in site supervision, civil work, or construction management
- Valid Class D driving license
- Own an automatic car
- Willingness to travel or commute to various site locations
- Ability to read and interpret engineering, architectural, and CAD/site drawings
- Ability to perform basic manual or digital technical sketching and measurement verification
- Familiarity with site preparation, structural work, finishing, safety regulations, and quality checks
