Job Description

AECOM has an immediate requirement for an Engineering Site Supervisor – Structural (Piling Works) (ESS) to work on a number of Public Housing projects throughout Hong Kong. The role will assist on carrying out site supervision for piling works for the projects.

We are looking for high caliber professional to join our Building Engineering team in Hong Kong. To be successful in the role, you will be required to:

  • For Hong Kong Housing Authority
  • Demonstrate site inspection experience working for the piling works on building structures projects
  • Complete the tasks assigned by the client in a timely manner
  • Possess experience in dealing with Housing Authority
  • Undertake and project-site supervise Building Foundation engineering works in site construction stage
  • Be creative and understand the client's requirements
  • Immediately available is highly preferred.

Qualifications

Case A

(a) The ESS shall have a minimum qualification of Higher Diploma or Higher Certificate or equivalent in Civil, Structural or Geotechnical Engineering and with a minimum of 5 years relevant site supervision and administration experience*; and

(b) The 5 years relevant site supervision and administration experience should be in structural engineering works and/or geotechnical engineering works and/or civil engineering works of which minimum 1 year should be local experience on foundation works and related to piling work supervision gained within previous 3 years from the date of provision of body-shopped ESS.

Case B

(a) The ESS shall have a minimum qualification of Degree (not Associate Degree) or equivalent in Civil, Structural or Geotechnical Engineering and with a minimum of 2 years relevant site supervision and administration experience*; and

(b) The 2 years relevant site supervision and administration experience should be in structural engineering works and/or geotechnical engineering works and/or civil engineering works of which minimum 1 year should be local experience; and

(c) The ESS shall possess minimum 6 months local experience on foundation works and related to piling work supervision gained within previous 2 years from the date of provision of body-shopped ESS.

* The calculation of the total relevant working experience shall be in accordance with the CoPSS. Preference is given to ESS with more relevant working experience.
