Job Description

We are seeking a Site Supervisor to support the Site Manager in the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the site. This hands‑on leadership role involves supervising employees and contractors, managing daily operations, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards. The Site Supervisor will also step into day‑to‑day operational responsibility when the Site Manager is absent.

Key responsibilities will be but not limited to:

  • Lead and promote strong Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) standards.
  • Supervise daily site operations, grain storage, and handling activities.
  • Support quality management systems, audits, and documentation compliance.
  • Achieve grain quality targets and maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Assist with harvest readiness, recruitment, and staff training.
  • Monitor waste grain targets, site presentation, and operational performance.
  • Support delivery of site financial and operational KPIs.
  • Utilise site systems and reporting tools effectively.

Qualifications

Desired skills and experience:

  • Supervisory or team‑lead experience (grain industry experience preferred but not essential).
  • Strong safety focus with the ability to lead by example.
  • Hands‑on, flexible approach with strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and people‑leadership skills.
  • Basic computer and reporting skills.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Frontline management training (highly regarded).
  • Current Driver’s Licence (essential).
