As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) in our team(HealthsafeID), you will play a vital role in ensuring our platforms are reliable, scalable, and highly available. Our team is focused on providing a reliable identity platform, utilizing cutting-edge cloud infrastructure and modern reliability engineering practices. In this role, you will work with innovative technologies like Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud-native observability frameworks to drive system reliability and automate operations. You will also leverage enterprise-approved AI productivity tools to accelerate troubleshooting, automate mundane tasks, and continuously optimize our software delivery pipelines.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability pipelines to ensure the high availability and reliability of complex cloud-native and on-premise platforms
  • Use enterprise-approved AI tools and automation utilities to streamline daily workflows, accelerate diagnostic troubleshooting, and eliminate repetitive toil
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues, performing deep-dive root-cause analysis (RCA) and implementing permanent preventive solutions
  • Build, maintain, and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines to ensure safe, repeatable, and fast software deployments
  • Evaluate emerging technology trends and reliability practices to inform system architecture, design patterns, and continuous automation improvements
  • Collaborate with development teams to establish Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Indicators (SLIs), and error budgets that balance reliability with feature velocity
  • Author and update runbooks, system documentation, and incident response playbooks to build team capability and streamline operations
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, System Administration, or Software Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience working with containerization and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) or cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS)
  • 2+ years of experience with automation scripting or programming in languages such as Python, Bash, Go, or PowerShell
  • 2+ years of experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools (e.g., Splunk, Datadog, ELK stack)
  • Experience in troubleshooting complex distributed systems and conducting root-cause analysis (RCA) for production outages
  • Experience utilizing, or a demonstrated capability to adopt, enterprise-approved AI-augmented engineering tools to optimize daily workflows

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team environment
  • Familiarity with database systems (SQL and Dynamo) and performance tuning techniques
  • Understanding of networking protocols, load balancing, DNS, and secure communication practices
  • Proven solid communication and collaboration skills with a customer-centric mindset
