Summary of the Job:

 

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join FNBO’s Technical Operations team. In this role, you will help grow the Site Reliability Engineering practice by supporting monitoring, alerting, automation, and best practices initiatives. You will also manage ITSM practices to ensure effective change, major incident management, problem management and knowledge management. While Dynatrace experience is preferred, familiarity with monitoring tools and a willingness to learn is required. You will collaborate with Infrastructure & Operations and Application Development teams to assist with automation, deployment pipelines, and overall system performance.

About This Role:

Role is onsite in Omaha, Nebraska 3 days a week.

This role will have the opportunity to work with and learn AWS Cloud.

Job Specific Accountabilities:

  • Lead ITSM practices including change, incident, problem and knowledge management

  • Lead major incident response calls and help resolve issues.

  • Lead the Change Management process ensuring change preparedness  

  • Lead the Problem management process and perform problem review analysis Assist in monitoring FNBO systems/applications and follow best practices for proactive monitoring and resolution.

  • Participate in the on-call rotation to respond to incidents in a timely manner.

  • Support performance optimization efforts to ensure system peak performance and customer satisfaction.

  • Assist in conducting Post-Mortems after major incidents to help identify root causes and prevent future issues.

  • Collaborate with Application Development teams on deployment pipeline maintenance.

  • Contribute to the growth of the Site Reliability Engineering practice.

  • Perform Operational Readiness review and validate ready for implementation 

  • Provide Knowledge Management leadership 

  • Create executive reports on identified team KPI’s monthly 

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or 3-5 years of related experience).

  • Knowledge of ITIL practices and relevant ITIL certifications (e.g., ITIL Foundation) preferred.

  • Familiarity with service ticket tool, like ServiceNow.

  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace (preferred) or other similar platforms.

  • Understanding of basic development practices, scripting, automation, and monitoring.

  • Ability to automate tasks using scripting tools.

  • Knowledge of agile practices is a plus.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and engage in team activities.

Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.

Compensation:

 

Compensation range (base pay): $68,251.00-$112,615.00

This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.

Work Environment:

It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work in a hybrid capacity, balancing in-person collaboration three (3) days a week with remote flexibility two (2) days a week. As part of our team, you'll experience the energy and relationship-building of face-to-face collaboration while still enjoying the flexibility of remote workdays. We provide the tools and technology to ensure seamless transitions between work environments, supporting your productivity wherever you are. Please note that work location is subject to change based on business needs.
