AFS is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer for a fully onsite role in Reston, VA.
The Work:
- Develop and support data pipelines to capture and consolidate critical hardware quality telemetry for our air-gapped clouds.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, firmware developers and data scientists, to understand the sources, ingestion, transformation, and utilization of the raw telemetry for our key metrics in the public space.
- Develop analogous capture and reporting capabilities for our air-gapped cloud environments.
- Create and standardize queries across multiple airgap clouds, and build dashboard high and low-side.
- Collaborate with Deployment and Component teams to discover pre-existing deployment solutions, and create new deployment solutions.
- Ability to learn new skills/technologies ie LLMs.
Here's what you need:
- BS degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- Minimum 5 years relevent professional experience
- Strong programming and data engineering experience, including:
- SQL
- Python
- Azure Data Factory and/or Azure Synapse
- Apache Spark
- Experience working with:
- Azure Data Explorer
- Azure Blob Storage
- Kusto Query Language (KQL)
- Git
- JSON
- Powershell
- C#
- Familiarity with core cloud computing concepts (Azure preferred)
- Understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
- Valid US Passport
Bonis points if you have:
- Strong communications and problem-solving skills
- Provide on-call support 24/7 availability no more than one week every two months troubleshooting and mitigating issues across multiple systems
- DoD 8570 Baseline Certifications (e.g., Security+, CySA+, CASP+, CCSP, etc.), CompTIA Server+ and/or CompTIA A+ certifications
Clearance Requirements:
- TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
