What You’ll Do:
- System Monitoring: Help us keep our systems running smoothly by assisting in monitoring performance and availability.
- Automate Tasks: Get hands-on experience developing and implementing automation tools to make our processes more efficient.
- Collaborate: Work alongside our talented development and operations teams to support the integration and deployment of exciting new features to Google Cloud platform.
- Document: Play a key role in maintaining detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and incident responses.
- Performance Monitoring: Contribute to monitoring system performance and capacity, ensuring everything runs optimally.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Pursuing a STEM Bachelor’s or Master's degree, graduating after August 2025
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
- Knowledge of Shell/Perl/Python scripting, Ansible and Terraform configuration management tools, GCP or any cloud platform, Network and computer operations
- Familiarity with the Linux Operating System, Oracle, and any non-SQL database
- Nice-Have: web-based architecture and development techniques, Java containers, Docker/Kubernetes
