Quality/ Supply Chain
JOB PURPOSE
This Site (Factory / Sourcing Unit) Quality Analyst role executes all appropriate quality measurements required to assure product safety and product quality to support manufacturing operations. Analyses simple product quality data.
Records and trends all data into the designated IT system. Uses tools to reduce/eliminate quality losses
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
The scope of the role is dependent on-site scale factors including consumer units, packing lines, site headcount - FTE, direct responsibility staff FTE, and site complexity factors such as technologies, SKU, % production direct-shipped to customer.
This role works under the supervision of Quality Specialist. The Analyst follows fixed testing schedules and procedures. Can make decisions with regard to non-compliant process, trigger product quarantine procedures and initiate corrective action procedures.
Quality Systems Management
Supports reporting of operational KPIs by analyzing simple data and assigning into standard Quality loss trees
Complies with requirements regarding use of SAP QM and Unilever specifications
Testing and Measurement
Complies with site program for inbound raw materials and packaging component testing and documents results / information as required in designated system such as SNCR
Performs required quality tests and documents results per Unilever / external requirements and applicable specifications.
Acts based upon specification limits, which may include adjustment of equipment / material or halt to production, with proper alert to Quality Specialist and/or Quality Manager and Manufacturing Manager
Complies with all good laboratory practices, Unilever requirements and testing methods, and applicable government / authority regulations
Monitors fill control for label weight / volume declarations and records related quality data in designated system
Enters quality data and information to designated system where test results, audit findings and other data are securely stored and archived
UMS & Continuous Improvement
Uses required IT systems, UMS practices, loss trees and improvement tools used to reduce or eliminate quality losses as directed
Innovation & Change
Collects data and uses required IT systems and tools to support innovation trials, early management in site projects, VIP trials and Launch Monitoring Plan as directed.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS
Essential:
0.5 – 1 years’ experience in Quality or Manufacturing e.g. internships and entry level at lab
Preferred:
2 years in busy organic & inorganic chemistry laboratory environment with practical skills on spectroscopy, chromatography, electrochemistry, rheology and titrimetric.
SKILLS
Essential:
Degree in Food Science & Technology, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or equivalent
Preferred:
Analytical Chemistry or Food Science
