We currently have an opportunity for a Site Project Manager.  Join our Government and Integrated Facilities Management team and play a key role in managing new build and refurbishment projects across a Downer client contract. Reporting to the Regional Projects Manager, you’ll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.

 

 

What You’ll Do

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

  • Manage multiple projects across design, tender, construction, handover and close-out.
  • Monitor project programs, budgets, cash flow, risks and contractual obligations.
  • Work collaboratively with clients, contractors, consultants and internal project teams.
  • Conduct site inspections and oversee safety, quality, compliance and project progress.
  • Manage variations, progress claims, reporting and stakeholder communications.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • A qualification in Construction Management, Property Development or Architecture, or an equivalent trade qualification.
  • Extensive experience within the construction and development industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects across time, cost, quality and safety requirements.
  • Knowledge of building contracts, design standards, Building Codes, legislation, WHS and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong stakeholder management, written communication, verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP, InEight or Primavera P6 would be advantageous.
