As a Site Performance Manager, you’ll partner with Caterpillar and customer stakeholders to improve the performance of Caterpillar mining products. You’ll lead strategic initiatives, manage key metrics, and act as a consultant on equipment selection, product problem resolution, and operational best practices.Job Description:
- Develop, implement, and manage a strategic Mining Account Plan focused on equipment and mine system performance.
- Partner with Caterpillar representatives to align resources and improve KPI metrics such as physical and mechanical availability.
- Lead site performance improvements based on data trends and coordinate product problem resolution.
- Act as a consultant to customer operations and maintenance managers on equipment selection and management strategies.
- Establish reporting structures for performance data and collaborate with reliability teams.
- Influence Caterpillar Machine Business Divisions to accelerate corrective actions and mitigate product issues.
- Build and maintain high-level relationships with decision-makers and subject matter experts.
- Manage customer service site performance, including parts availability and operational metrics.
- Generate leads for machine/fleet, product support, technology, and other business opportunities.
- Lead Finning activities to ensure product health and performance, reducing operational impact.
Day-to-Day Activities:
- Monitor and report on site performance metrics.
- Participate in strategic planning and relationship management meetings.
- Collaborate with Caterpillar and customer teams to resolve product issues.
- Provide input on operational controls and business practices.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Mine site experience and strong knowledge of mining industry operations.
- Service and sales experience with solutions and technology knowledge.
- Technical product expertise and familiarity with Caterpillar equipment.
- College or university degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- 5–9 years of progressively responsible leadership experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for influencing stakeholders.
- Ability to understand mining cost-per-ton factors and operational KPIs.

- Based out of our CNRL site.
- Permanent, full-time role.
- Monday–Friday, 5x2 schedule.
