What We OfferMajor tasks and responsibilities:
• Steer and facilitate effective production campaign planning and manage execution of the manufacturing plan in close collaboration with Supply Chain, Production, Plant Maintenance, Plant Improvement, and Quality department.
• Safeguard legal and company internal regulatory compliance incl. environmental aspects and guarantee the quality of processes and products.
• Ensure best in class process and plant safety, occupational health, and safety as well as emergency/crisis response and manage related collaboration with governmental organizations.
• Effective direction and further development of KPI based operational excellence, continuous improvement, and digitalization with strong focus on production & material yield rates, quality loss prevention, downtime reduction, OEE, OTIF, product costing, and effectiveness of RCA based mitigation measures to ensure long-term competitiveness.
• Manage cost centers, Prime, FAM, and CAPEX for the site organization and ensure the financial performance.
• Represent the site towards internal and external stakeholders and customers.
Qualifications:
• University degree (preferably Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related fields).
• 5 or more years of experience in production management, e.g., as 2nd Plant or Production Leader in multi-national chemical company is required.
• Proven leadership experience and leadership vision (disciplinary and functional leadership), also in leading managers.
• Extensive knowledge of compliance, safety and environmental practices and regulations, and a proven track record regarding the optimization of plant safety.
• In-depth understanding of ISO related QM-system, production support functions including finance & controlling, SC&L, Sales and Product Management, Safety, Quality, and Human Resources.
• Professional influencing and communication skills, both written and verbally in Chinese and English language are essential.
• Proven quantitative and analytical modeling skills, Six Sigma Green, or Black Belt certification of advantage.
• Strong intercultural skills and ability to work within a diverse cultural environment.
