PURPOSE: 
Delivering a turnkey automated auto body paint shop on customer site, the Site Manager is the delegate of the Operations & Engineering division at the site; is responsible for site activities. The Site Manager's mission is to guarantee Customer Satisfaction and the quality of the activities taking place at the plant construction site - in compliance with project costs and timescales and with safety during plant assembly - through the analysis and management of the various construction activities (on site), from the opening phase of the Site until its closure.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Planning of Assembly activities:
  •  Plans and manages site activities and personnel.
  • Organize site logistics (in cooperation with Logistic).

Control of assembly operations on site (Time and Quality):

  • Monitor assembly operations, approving supplier SALs and ensuring proper reporting and non-conformance documentation.
  • Identify potential issues that may impact project costs and contractual commitments, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Analyze resource data and track activity progress.
  • Ensure product quality in collaboration with staff and verify site safety compliance.
  • Monitor non-quality costs and promote corrective actions with management.
  • Prepare reports on work progress and critical issues for the PM/EDSM.
  • Draft and update assembly schedules and compile cost analyses.
  • Prepare experience reports as agreed with the PM.
  • Manage drawing transmissions to suppliers via JD-PLM.

Customer Relations:

  • Foster positive customer relationships to ensure cooperation and satisfaction.
  • Verify adherence to commitments and identify actions to maintain technical quality and timelines.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree BA /BS degree (Engineering, Supply Chain-related preferred)
  • Up to 3-5 years of professional experience
  • Paint Shop experience

  • Operating effectively and delivering expected results is the primary expectation for all team members.
  • A blend of technical mastery and practical leadership values is essential for achieving these results.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and application of Quality Procedures are crucial at both individual and company-wide levels.


PREFERED SKILLS:

  • Strong project management experience.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to lead teams and manage multiple stakeholders.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Work is normally performed in an office, laboratory, manufacturing floor, or machine shop setting where physical work includes, but is not limited to, sitting, standing, reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to understand and comply with all relevant safety practices.


FLSA STATUS/WORKING SCHEDULE:

    • Location: Sparks, Nevada
    • Schedule: Day Shift
    • Core Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 h/week
    • Assignment Start: May 2025
    • Assignment End: End of 2025
