What will you be doing?
Development and Management of Safety, Quality, Time, Cost and performance outputs of the Project's deliverables
Client liaison and attendance at all project meetings to provide updates on progress against programme deliverables (delivery, H&S and quality).
Resource planning – assess labour and plant requirements to assist Operations Manager in resource planning for on-site installation teams.
Coordinate all design, engineering and construction activity to deliver successful district heating system installation and commissioning.
Ensure material bill of quantities meet project requirements and materials procured are reconciled to the BOQ in accordance with Company procedures to achieve best value and prevent delays.
Provision and Management/leadership of the Project's Design, Engineering and Construction teams on site.
Oversee system commissioning, testing and handover to ensure performance meets design specifications.
Compile Q&A documents ready for handover to clients on project completion
What are we looking for?
Qualifications: Black CSCS Card, SMSTS, First Aid at Work, IOSH/NEBOSH qualifications preferred
Practical experience working as a manager on active construction sites essential, experience in engineering associated with buried district heating systems preferred
Knowledge of heating system design, pipework installation, plant commissioning and controls would be advantageous
