Job Description:
Site ManagerHuntsman is seeking a Site Manager supporting the Advanced Materials Division located in Los Angeles, California. This position will report to the Vice President of Operations.
Job Scope
The Site Manager is accountable for all aspects of site performance, including safety, environmental compliance, production, quality, maintenance, engineering, financial performance, and people leadership. This highly visible role provides the opportunity to shape site strategy, develop future leaders, and drive operational excellence, capacity expansion, new product commercialization, and a high-performance culture.
The Los Angeles site manufactures high-value specialty epoxy and polyurethane materials serving aerospace, automotive, energy, and industrial markets.
- Champion a Zero Harm culture through active and visible safety leadership.
- Ensure compliance with Huntsman standards and all applicable federal, California, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Provide executive oversight for emergency preparedness, environmental stewardship, regulatory compliance, and site security.
- Serve as the site's Ethics and Compliance Officer and reinforce Huntsman's Business Conduct Guidelines.
- Ensure contractors, visitors, and employees consistently meet site safety and compliance expectations.
- Lead daily manufacturing operations across Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering.
- Improve reliability, asset utilization, productivity, and operational discipline.
Partner with Supply Chain, Product Development, Logistics, and commercial teams to support customer commitments, new product introductions, and capacity expansion. - Drive operational decisions using performance metrics to improve safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency.
- Provide accountability for site financial performance, including operating budgets, capital expenditures, and P&L results.
- Manage capital investment planning and execution.
- Align site objectives with regional and corporate business priorities while improving profitability and operational performance.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Site Leadership Team while fostering accountability, collaboration, and employee engagement.
- Establish clear goals, performance expectations, and succession plans.
- Promote a culture of inclusion, continuous learning, ownership, and high performance.
- Partner with HR and functional leaders to support talent development and workforce planning.
- Translate business strategy into site execution plans.
- Lead transformational initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem solving.

- Represent the site with regulatory agencies, customers, contractors, community stakeholders, and corporate leadership.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Business, or related technical discipline.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in chemical or comparable process manufacturing.
- Minimum five years leading multi-functional manufacturing operations.
- Demonstrated experience leading safety, quality, operational excellence, financial performance, and people development.
- Proven experience managing operating budgets, capital projects, and cross-functional teams.
- MBA or advanced technical degree.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Experience leading a specialty chemical manufacturing facility.
- Experience in a global, matrixed organization.
- Knowledge of California manufacturing, environmental, and safety regulations.

Salary:$175,000–$220,000 annually.
The compensation range reflects the Company’s reasonable expectation at the time of posting, considering education, experience, and training.
