About the role

Packforce is a purpose-driven commercial packing and production business powered by Cerebral Palsy Alliance. We provide meaningful employment opportunities for people with disability while delivering high-quality packing, labelling, assembly, rework and fulfilment services to a diverse range of commercial clients.

The Site Manager, Packforce is responsible for leading the team at out Wetherill Park site to operationally manage a sustainable commercial enterprise (packing, assembly and labelling contracts) that provides employment and professional development opportunities for people with a disability.

Responsibilities of the role (not limited to):

  • Manage both the commercial packing services and client/supported employee requirements in order to maintain and grow a sustainable business in line with CPA's strategic direction
  • Manage a team to ensure client/supported employee daily and employment needs are met
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and commercial customers to ensure a financially sustainable business
  • Work actively with the Operations Supervisor and support staff to ensure capacity to manage the requirements of both commercial contracts and supported employees
  • Monitor and manage expenditure to ensure financial and performance targets are successfully achieved within budget
  • Work to ensure all staff training, compliance and assessment requirements are up to date
  • Input and maintain client and staff data, work orders and roster schedules in applicable software systems

About you:

You are an experienced people and operations leader who can balance commercial outcomes with creating a positive and supportive workplace for employees.

  • Experience as a Site Manager or similar leadership role within a warehouse, manufacturing or production environment
  • Experience managing large and diverse teams in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Strong experience with rostering and workforce planning to meet operational requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in performance management, coaching and developing employees
  • Strong client relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive commercial partnerships
  • Ability to balance operational, people and commercial priorities while delivering sustainable business outcomes
  • Confident using systems and technology, including rostering, CRM and human resource management software
