Als Site Manager sind Sie verantwortlich für die sichere, effiziente und qualitativ hochwertige Durchführung aller Bauaktivitäten an unseren Projektstandorten in Deutschland.

Hauptaufgaben

  • Unterstützung des HSE Managers bei Baustellenaudits, der Überwachung von Arbeits- und Gesundheitsschutz sowie der Einhaltung der H&S-Dokumentation

  • Sicherstellung, dass Verfahren, Gefährdungsbeurteilungen und RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements) belastbar, aktuell und ordnungsgemäß umgesetzt sind

  • Wahrnehmung der Funktion als Sicherheitsbeauftragter durch Prüfung von Sicherheitsausrüstung und persönlicher Schutzausrüstung (PSA) sowie Förderung des Arbeitsschutzbewusstseins bei den Mitarbeitenden

  • Prüfung von Projektdokumentationen, Bau- und Elektrokonstruktionen sowie technischen Spezifikationen auf Konformität

  • Technische Unterstützung von Auftragnehmern sowie Sicherstellung, dass Installationsunterlagen verstanden und korrekt umgesetzt werden

  • Koordination von Prüfungen, Inspektionen und Dokumentation in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Quality Manager

  • Steuerung und Koordination von Nachunternehmern sowie Pflege professioneller Beziehungen zu allen Projektbeteiligten

  • Überwachung einer sicheren, effizienten und kosteneffektiven Projektausführung sowie Nachverfolgung des Fortschritts anhand definierter Meilensteine

  • Führung detaillierter Aufzeichnungen über Baustellenaktivitäten sowie Erstellung wöchentlicher und monatlicher Berichte für Projektmanagement und Kunden

  • Abgleich von Lieferungen auf der Baustelle mit Lieferscheinen sowie Nachverfolgung von Materialien

  • Prüfung und Bewertung von Änderungsanträgen sowie Teilnahme an wöchentlichen Projektbesprechungen

  • Koordination mehrerer Bau- und Elektroteams, Erstellung von Mängellisten (Punch Lists) und Durchführung von Readiness-/Abnahme-Inspektionen

  • Identifikation sicherer und wirtschaftlicher Lösungen für technische Herausforderungen auf der Baustelle

  • Sicherstellung, dass alle Voraussetzungen für Inbetriebnahmeaktivitäten erfüllt sind

  • Koordination mit dem Service-Team zur Unterstützung einer reibungslosen Übergabe in den Betrieb

Erforderliche Qualifikationen & Erfahrung

  • Mindestens 10 Jahre Berufserfahrung in der Leitung komplexer Bau- und Elektroprojekte, einschließlich kundennaher Tätigkeiten

  • Fundierte praktische Kenntnisse in Mittel- und Niederspannung, SCADA-, Prozessleitsystemen, Verkabelung sowie elektrischer Sicherheit

  • Ausgeprägtes Kostenbewusstsein bei gleichzeitiger Sicherstellung von Qualität und Termintreue

  • Fähigkeit zur Interpretation von Zeichnungen, Spezifikationen und technischen Verfahren

  • Ausgeprägte Fähigkeit, sowohl selbstständig als auch im Team zu arbeiten

  • Proaktive, lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise mit ausgeprägtem Hands-on-Mentalität

Role Overview 

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality execution of construction activities at our project sites in Germany.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the HSE Manager with site audits, health & safety oversight, and compliance with H&S documentation.

  • Ensure procedures, risk assessments, and RAMS are robust, up-to-date, and properly implemented.

  • Act as Safety Officer by inspecting safety equipment and PPE, and promoting occupational safety among employees.

  • Review project documentation, civil and electrical designs, and technical specifications to ensure compliance.

  • Provide technical support to contractors and ensure installation documentation is well understood.

  • Coordinate testing, inspections, and documentation with the Quality Manager.

  • Manage subcontractors and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.

  • Oversee safe, efficient, and cost-effective project execution while monitoring progress toward milestones.

  • Maintain detailed records of on-site activities and prepare weekly/monthly reports for project managers and clients.

  • Reconcile deliveries on-site with packing lists and track materials.

  • Review and advise on change requests and participate in weekly project meetings.

  • Manage multiple construction and electrical teams; prepare punch lists and conduct readiness inspections.

  • Identify safe, cost-effective solutions to technical challenges encountered on-site.

  • Ensure all prerequisites for commissioning activities are met.

  • Coordinate with the service team to support a smooth handover to operations.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience managing complex construction and electrical projects, including customer-facing situations.

  • Strong practical knowledge of medium voltage, low voltage, SCADA, process control systems, cabling, and electrical safety.

  • Excellent cost awareness without compromising quality or timelines.

  • Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical procedures.

  • Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

  • Proactive problem solver with a hands-on approach to challenges.

  • Strong knowledge of construction and H&S regulations, with proven compliance across multiple sites.

  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic business environment; willingness to share expertise with colleagues.

This position is site-based in Germany. The successful candidate must be willing to travel as required by project and business needs.
