Job Opening: Full-Time Linen Distributor – 1st Shift (Early Morning)
Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday
Hours: 4:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Days Off: Sunday & Monday
Location: Macon, GA

Rate: 16.00 per hour

Position Summary:

We're looking for a Linen Distributor to join our off-site distribution team in Macon. This role is perfect for someone dependable, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Strong communication, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset are key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport clean linen in covered carts to assigned areas

• Collect and transport soiled linen back to designated areas

• Verify and track linen quantities during deliveries

• Conduct regular linen inventory

• Resolve client concerns and communicate any issues to the supervisor

• Maintain high levels of customer service and professionalism

• Support department cleanliness and uphold safety standards

• Operate equipment and assist with general departmental tasks

• Follow Joint Commission standards and institutional procedures

• Perform basic clerical tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• 1–2 years of experience in healthcare, manufacturing, or similar industries

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Team player with a proactive “can-do” attitude

• Ability to stand, bend, lift (up to 35 lbs), and push/pull carts (up to 250 lbs)

• Comfortable with physical work and fast-paced settings

• Willingness to work occasional weekends, evenings, or holidays

• Basic computer literacy
