We are looking for a talented Site Leader to join our team specializing in Logistics for Atmus Filtration Technologies
Location: Reno NV – Onsite
Travel: 40% to start with and 10% after.
Directs, manages and leads a cross-functional team to ensure speed, dependability and efficiency in Parts Distribution Center operations or warehouse, providing excellent product availability and service to Atmus Distributors and Aftermarket customers, and/or internal Atmus stakeholders.
ResponsibilitiesOverall Leadership responsibility of a small to medium Parts Distribution Center. Responsible for delivering on/better than plan performance for Key Performance Indicators.
Accountable for Service Level Agreement commitments to General Managers of all Business Units whose products are distributed through the facility.
Responsible for jointly developing and executing business strategies with other staff members responsible for Global Materials, Transportation, Logistics Improvement & Data Integration functions.
Coordinate key business support activities required to operate facilities effectively, including (but not limited to) Safety, Security & Facilities Management, Quality Management, Supply Chain Management, Operations Excellence (6 Sigma/Lean), Sales and Operations Planning, Finance and Accounting, Information Technology, Human Resources.
Prepare and manage an annual operating plan including expense, resources, and capital. Manage Capital Investment requirements (Personal Protection Equipment & Information Technology) to support business plans.
- Responsible for establishing Atmus values in a start-up warehouse environment and ensuring Atmus values are demonstrated in site- this includes employee/labor relations, community involvement, diversity, health, safety, and environmental practices, fostering the right environment in the areas of safety, ethical behavior and financial compliance standards.
- Manage and develop supply chain capability, including establishment of site SOPs during start-up of warehouse; work with employees to set goals in training and development, performance, and career planning. Mentor and coach individual and collective talent to develop supply chain capability across the organization.
- Manage end-to-end Profit & Loss (P&L) performance, driving cost optimization and financial planning through strategic decision-making, forecasting, budgeting, and cross-functional leadership to achieve business targets.
Champion continuous improvement projects that align with Atmus Operating System and Functional Excellence direction by leveraging common processes, tools and information systems.
Ensure supply chains, intra-company and intercompany, meet all customer and business requirements.
Align with internal business partners to garner support and advocacy of enterprise Supply Chain initiatives.
Review Key Performance Indicators and operational trends to validate root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
Intervene to address supply chain failures as necessary.
Set the aim for the organization and ensure individual work plans are consistent with supply chain initiatives.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
- College, university, or equivalent degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related subject required. MBA preferred. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
- Experience/background in a startup warehouse environment.
- WMS/ERP system experience/background. RedPrairie a plus.
- Demonstrated proficiency of continuous improvement methods (5 why, fishbone, etc).
- Comfortable in a data-driven environment to guide decision making process.
- Experience leading Goods-to-Person (GTP) warehouse operations with a strong understanding of automated fulfillment technologies, inventory flow, system integration, and AGVs.
Base salary range: $105,011 to $131,263/year.
Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
