Position Summary

The Site IT Lead is responsible for delivering Information Technology leadership and operational support across all FMC locations and employees within their assigned country. This role serves as the primary point of contact for all local IT matters and ensures alignment with regional and global IT strategies, standards, and architectural frameworks.

The Role

Infrastructure and Operations

• Work closely with Global IT organization to implement and leverage global infrastructure capabilities and services spanning to
  • IT Service Management
  • Infrastructure and Operations
  • Cybersecurity and IT Compliance
• Manage local IT operations and support requirements in disparate FMC locations including corporate office spaces, manufacturing sites, and/or R&D facilities
• Provide level 2 hardware and software support on a wide range of systems, such as computer hardware, mobile devices, specialized business applications and general productivity software
• Provide level 2 technical support for network, server and storage, and workspace enablement products and services
• Facilitates end user onboarding/offboarding
• Manage IT asset lifecycle from acquisition to disposal
• System patching and vulnerability remediation
• Develop and document installation, operational and upgrade procedures
• Support the delivery of local, regional, and global IT projects
• IT procurement and vendor management
• Identify opportunities to enhance IT service delivery, drive local innovation, and support change management initiatives that improve user experience and operational efficiency.

IT Management

• Liaise between IT, Functional, and Business leaders
• Supervise, provide support and coach team members
• Monitor and drive KPI targets
• Drive delivery of IT roadmaps, projects, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage IT system changes and business impact
• Facilitates, coordinates and ensures that infrastructure maintenance and compliance tasks are scheduled and completed
• Supports the Regional IT Manager in IT budget planning and cost tracking

Compliance, System Security & Controls

• Promote FMC’s Culture of Safety
• Understand and adhere to FMC IT policies & standards and drive site compliance efforts with all internal controls
• Ensure that site systems adhere and are kept to current levels of IT compliance and IT governance involving Data Privacy, IT Security, Architecture Review, and Project Portfolio Management
• Evaluate risks, develop and conduct business continuity and resumption planning for all computer systems and infrastructure.
• Conduct periodic user training
• Support internal and external audit activities

The Candidate

Education:

• BS in Computer Science or Engineering or other management related disciplines

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an information technology role spanning IT infrastructure and operations domains
• Data and voice network systems administration and monitoring
• Microsoft Windows server management, desktop operating systems, and business productivity software (Microsoft products, SAP, Ariba procurement)
• Demonstrates the technical ability and knowledge to quickly integrate implement and document new technologies while supporting and maintaining the existing core systems.
• Knowledge and experience in implementing IT industry best practices and standards
• IT Service Management tools
• Strong customer focus and collaboration skills
• Demonstrate good communication skills across different levels in the organization
• Strong teamwork in multi-cultural environment
