Job Description:
The Site IE data engineer will partner with the site teams to develop and execute the overall site FI activities to improve site performance by improving data management. They will be responsible for all data reporting
related to site performance KPI reporting and benchmarks and will be the 1st contact for all data reporting systems for improvement and implementation of new tools.
The role is responsible for data integrity and adherence to the established ways of calculation, management through tools and reporting.
What are we looking for?
Minimum:
2-3 years of Direct Manufacturing Site experience
University degree in Ind. Engineering, Engineering or equivalent qualification
Working knowledge of MSE (TPM) FI tools
Role requires travel (25% approx.) to participate in training or support other Sites
Working knowledge of Power BI, RCLMS and Production reporting
Strong communication skills
Strong data acumen
Preferred:
Preferred experience working in relationship-based team environment
Certified in Problem Solving Methodologies or similar, Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt or actively working towards it
Advanced Excel skills
Project Management knowledge
Will be key user for digital solutions: SPOC and provides first-level support & training
Support local deployment of digital solutions
Support digital solutions continuous improvement
Qualified in BI & analytics to work with prepared data sets
Will be the steward for local data:
Implement the standard for a data set in a certain area (e.g., in one factory)
Define & controls data with stakeholders
Manages data quality issue
Data cleansing and validation
High degree of independence and collaboration, communication and influencing skills laterally as well as with site leadership, regional, and global teams
Direct working relationship with the site Ops team and North America Continuous Improvement community and MSE and IE leads.
Will be an active member of local & regional IE/MSE team, give functional support to the team when needed
Daily, weekly, periodically and annual data reporting for line performance such as TRS/OEE by line and equipment including the different elements that build the TRS/OEE reports
In addition, lines speeds, flowrates, NQC elements such as run setup, re-use, and destruction will be in scope. This will also apply to data required such as MTBF, MTBR, MTBS, etc. for selected lines within the site MSE deployment plan
