We are looking for a motivated Site Engineer to join the Fulton Hogan team in Christchurch. In this role, you will need to show passion for delivering excellence, strong self-management and accuracy in your work and in return, will be given plenty of opportunities to demonstrate your knowledge and experience gained to-date, in order to progress your career further.
 

In addition to the above you will:

  • Assist the Project Managers and Project Engineers in the day-to-day operations of the projects division
  • Ensure that the work is completed in compliance with appropriate specifications, legislative requirements and company policy
  • Ensure site crews, sub-contractors and plant are managed through good planning and effective communication and co-ordination

We’re looking for someone with:  

  • Tertiary Qualification in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum three years’ experience in the civil infrastructure industry.
  • Demonstrated on-site project experience.
  • Strong self-management skills.
  • A proactive approach towards Health and Safety - it’s our #1 priority!
  • The ability to mediate, in order to resolve issues swiftly and calmly.
  • A willingness to learn and upskill.
