We are on the lookout for an experienced and committed Project Site Engineer to ensure a safe, cooperative and successful delivery of the RAC Ningaloo Reef Resort project in Coral Bay.
This role forms part of our Tourism Assets business and is being offered as a 12-month max term contract (FIFO from Perth (2:1) or DIDO from Exmouth (roster and accommodation to be discussed).
Reporting to the Manager Project Delivery, this role will be responsible for site supervision, monitoring and reporting on progress, quality control, contractor management and works coordination, and general oversight activities related to procurement and construction works being completed on the RAC Ningaloo Reef Resort project site.
What will you be doing?

Supervise works on site (Coral Bay) in the capacity of Superintendent’s Representative

Monitor and report on progress daily

Monitor (and record where necessary) all activities related to quality control (materials and works)

Control and distribute relevant quality documentation

Ensure all testing and commissioning activities are conducted, witnessed and recorded as required.

Monitor all activities related to site safety management

Always represent RAC’s interests

Ensure the project’s design intent, technical specifications and quality standards are met

Ensure all contractor queries are answered, redirected or otherwise addressed in a timely manner

Ensure compliance across all standard operating procedures to ensure alignment with relevant regulations, guidelines, standards and policies
What are we looking for in you?
-
This role will suit someone who has demonstrated experience as a Site Engineer in a construction environment, with a Civil / Structural engineering background.

Engineering qualified and/or Trade Certification
-
Qualifications in Project Management and/or Construction Management (desirable)

Significant experience as a Project Site Engineer with a Civil / Structural background (concrete and/or structural steel experience would be advantageous)

On-site supervision / management experience

Experience in quality control and compliance fields

Experience in contract administration

Ability to manage relationships with a wide range of stakeholders working in a dynamic environment

Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal)

Knowledge / awareness of construction contract requirements and obligations

Be able to represent RAC’s commercial and contractual interests in a construction environment

Be self-driven and willing to accept responsibility

Ability to organise and manage multi-task varied priorities and ability to complete all allotted tasks within an appropriate time frame
