We are currently recruiting for a Ste Engineer to join our team in Adelaide for one of our long term projects in Edinburgh.

In this position, you will play an integral role in assisting trade subcontractors and suppliers to deliver a successful construction project. This includes developing and maintaining construction programs, implementing the procurement strategy, value engineering, managing quality and ensuring high levels of Health and Safety at all times.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, supervision, and execution of construction activities on site.

  • Interpret and implement engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.

  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and compliance with project requirements and safety regulations.

  • Prepare and maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, progress updates, and as-built drawings.

  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials and services.

  • Conduct quality control checks and testing of materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with standards.

About you

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in the construction industry, preferably with large-scale projects.

  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and relevant industry standards and regulations.

  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and project documents.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound technical decisions under pressure.

  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality assurance.

Skills Required
