We're looking for
a hands-on Site Engineer to take ownership of our facilities, maintenance,
utilities and engineering functions. You'll play a key role in keeping our
manufacturing site operating safely, efficiently and reliably while driving
projects that improve performance and support future growth.
What You'll Be
Doing
No two days are
the same, but here's what you'll get stuck into:
- Lead equipment maintenance and
reliability across the manufacturing site
- Develop and implement preventative
and planned maintenance programmes
- Investigate equipment failures and
perform root cause analysis
- Support automation systems, PLCs and
production technology
- Manage site utilities including
electrical systems, HVAC, compressed air and water services
- Oversee facilities, infrastructure
and external contractors
- Ensure compliance with safety, GMP
and operational standards
- Manage site services including
security, cleaning, pest control and waste management
- Lead engineering, optimisation and
continuous improvement projects
- Support equipment installations,
commissioning and upgrades
- Implement and maintain CMMS and
maintenance management systems
- Develop maintenance KPIs, dashboards
and reporting to drive performance
Requirements
- Degree in Mechatronic Engineering or
a related engineering discipline
- 5–8 years' experience within a
manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong experience working with
automated production equipment
- Experience with PLC programming,
troubleshooting and industrial control systems
- Strong mechanical and electrical
fault-finding skills
- Experience implementing preventative
maintenance programmes
- Experience managing engineering
projects and contractors
- Knowledge of facilities and utilities
management
- Experience with CMMS or maintenance
management systems
- Root cause analysis and continuous
improvement experience
- Ability to develop SOPs and technical
documentation
- Strong analytical, planning and
problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
in a fast-paced environment
- High level of accountability and
ownership
- Willingness to provide after-hours
support when required
