Main purpose of position

Currently we are looking for a Site Electrical Quality Supervisor, Buciumi Project - Romania, to join our global team. You will proactively evaluate works performed in site to assess compliance with quality requirements during construction as per project documentation and guiding the field team by supporting in the implementation of tools established by the organization under the guidance of the site quality manager of the quality management system.

Project location – Comuna Buciumi, Judetul Bacau

 

Main responsibilities 

  • Manage the site quality inspectors, support the site quality manager and ensure that quality goals are achieved 
  • Implement and monitor site quality management system in their discipline 
  • Highlight field issues that directly impact quality of the plant 
  • Maintain inspection register 
  • Implement NCR process in site and maintain NCR register 
  • Complaints and feedback to and from the contractor 
  • Maintain concession register 
  • Assist with internal and contractor audits 
  • Keep and update red-line register 
  • Keep and update calibration register 
  • Create project-specific quality documentation to ensure proper implementation of the quality management system. 
  • Perform inspections and follow-up on punch items 
  • Review and follow up on contractor’s quality management system implementation 
  • Sign off on contractor’s quality inspection reports 
  • Compile quality data packages for TTO 

Qualifications and competencies 

  • Education in Electrical Engineering
  • Knowledge in ISO 9001:2008
  • Certification in Quality Control
  • Strong technical knowledge in area of studies  
  • Proactively follow progress in the field and do quality inspections
  • Reading and interpretation of construction drawings.
  • Hands-on: understanding of being interested in how things work out in the field
  • A sound understanding of commercial impact of quality decisions on the project.
  • Skilled at identifying project critical success factors and adopting appropriate risk management practices 
  • Broad understanding of quality principles and ability to oversee their implementation 
  • Language: Fluent both written and spoken in Romanian and English

Additional information: 12 month contract, driver license

Skills Required

  • Education in Electrical Engineering
