Job Summary
Flowserve is looking for a technically and commercially experienced salesperson in the customer field (Applications Engineer). In this function you will develop solutions for customers and partners for industrial and special applications.
You will act as a specialist in a team and work closely with the sales, development, and other specialist departments at the site.
Your role
Providing the necessary engineering support, including but not limited to customer for pump repair in Turkey.
Ensure that customer operating procedures and guidelines are aligned with Flowserve ones, and the proper implementation of the operating procedures/guidelines onsite and inside the workshop.
Supports the agreed KPI targets. Analyzes, reviews and raises any potential issue.
Attend the Maintenance and Reliability Meetings. Maintain and update in tools to monitor and evaluate the agreement performance.
In collaboration CSC, monitor customer inventory levels for spare/repair parts and submit recommendations to customer for the inventory development and optimization for increasing our AM business with customer.
Monitor the bad actors in the field and suggest upgrade/CCO solutions/recommendations. Supervise all critical pump maintenance activities to identify pump, seal, auxiliaries and system upgrades. Ensure all the opportunities are properly captured in Flowserve CRM and Business Systems.
Act as the primary source of information regarding the design, application, installation, and operation of pumps and mechanical seals.
Timely, transparent, and effective corrective action communication with customer. Control that all the corrective actions are communicated within the entire team.
To support QRC Turkey customers, to participate in site visits and inspection tours, if appropriate to the business plan. Preparing reports on the visits/inspection tours and presenting recommendations to improve equipment reliability, if any.
Supporting and participating in the operation activities in and around Izmir and following the progress of the processes if necessary.
You profile
BS or BA Degree in relevant field and / or 0-2 years relevant experience.
Experience as an Applications Engineer or similar role such as, inside Sales Representative, Engineer.
SAP knowledge Experience in dealing with common MS Office applications.
Good communication skills
Strong technician acumen and analytical thinking.
