Summary  
Performs advanced administrative duties requiring a good working knowledge of CAE's operations and a detailed knowledge of the Airlift/Tanker Center of Excellence, C-17 TS program, and C-17 Formal Training Unit (FTU) and TSSC operations. Provides overall support to the C-17 TS program, FTU, and TSSC managers as well as the rest of the Altus staff. Performs several functions for the C-17 TS program and Altus site (e.g., safety, Site Security Manager, DISS Account Holder, Building Custodian, etc.).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•    Support daily operations for the C-17 Training System program, FTU, TSSC, and Altus site.
•    Coordinate assigned site functions, including safety activities, Site Security Manager responsibilities, DISS account-holder duties, and Building Custodian requirements.
•    Monitor operational priorities, deadlines, and action items to ensure appropriate follow-through.
•    Coordinate meetings, schedules, site activities, leadership engagements, and business events.
•    Serve as a point of contact for site personnel, program leaders, internal departments, and external stakeholders.
•    Prepare reports, presentations, correspondence, meeting materials, and leadership updates.
•    Track departmental budgets, expenses, records, and assigned operational data.
•    Maintain confidential business, employee, security, and program records.
•    Research, compile, and organize information to support leadership decisions.
•    Identify issues affecting site operations and coordinate with the appropriate stakeholders to support resolution.
•    Assist with meetings, conferences, employee events, and site initiatives.
•    Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements 
•    High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
•    Minimum of five years of experience supporting site operations, program coordination, office management, business operations, or a related function.
•    Experience coordinating multiple priorities, stakeholders, records, and time-sensitive requirements.
•    Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
•    Experience handling sensitive or confidential information.
•    Ability to meet applicable security, system-access, and training requirements associated with the position.

•    Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and take initiative.
•    Strong attention to detail and consistent follow-through.
•    Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.

Security Responsibilities  

  • Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures.  Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval.  All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.   
  •  Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.  

 Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.   


Work Environment  
 This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.  This is an on-site position.  


Physical Demands   

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.    

  • Moderate to high levels of stress, associated with technical, schedule, and customer issues  
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime as needed, including occasional weekends  
  • Must be able to sit and operate a personal computer for long periods of time
