What You’ll Do
The San Antonio SIOP Leader is responsible for developing, leading, and continuously improving the site’s Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process. This role ensures alignment between customer demand, operational capacity, inventory strategy, and financial objectives.
Acting as the single point of accountability for requirements into Operations, this role partners closely with Sales, Programs, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Finance to drive predictable execution, strong customer performance, and profitable growth. This position leads through influence and collaboration and does not have direct reports.
Key Responsibilities
Demand Planning & Forecasting
- Lead cross-functional demand planning activities to deliver accurate, timely forecasts aligned with customer and commercial requirements.
- Partner with Sales, Program Management, Commercial, and Finance to review and validate demand assumptions.
- Improve forecast accuracy and demand visibility across short-, mid-, and long-term planning horizons.
- Align demand plans with capacity, supply, and inventory strategies in partnership with Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering.
- Lead scenario planning and risk mitigation efforts to address capacity constraints and demand variability.
SIOP Strategy & Governance
- Develop and lead the site SIOP strategy in alignment with StandardAero’s enterprise objectives and growth plans.
- Establish governance, standard processes, and performance metrics to ensure consistency, accountability, and effective decision-making.
- Lead monthly and quarterly SIOP reviews with senior leadership, providing insights on demand, supply, financial alignment, and risk.
- Present clear trade-offs and recommendations to support data-driven decisions.
Inventory & Working Capital
- Partner with Supply Chain and Finance to balance customer service, inventory health, and working capital objectives.
- Monitor and improve inventory turns, aging, and obsolescence.
- Drive accountability for inventory and working capital targets tied to financial performance.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field required
Experience
- 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, operations, or planning
- Proven success leading SIOP or Integrated Business Planning (IBP) in complex, regulated, or global environments
- Strong financial acumen with experience aligning operational execution to business objectives
Skills & Capabilities
- Expertise in demand planning, capacity planning, supply chain management, and inventory optimization
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence across functions and levels
- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and advanced planning tools
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA strongly preferred
- APICS / ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent)

Work Environment
This role is based in San Antonio and involves a combination of office and shop-floor presence. Occasional travel and customer interaction may be required.
