Single Use Technologies Expert (x|f|m) - Remote

We are looking for a Single Use Technologies Expert (x|f|m) for theTechnical Strategic Account department at Sartorius Stedim Switzerland AG. This is a home-based role, with regular travel to the Wallis region in Switzerland. Occasional travel in EMEA is envisioned, too.
In this role, you will help one major site of the dedicated strategic account with standardizing their processes around single-use technologies (SUT), perform process analysis and process design in order to ensure successful design, validation and implementation of Ready-to-Use assemblies, in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices and regulatory requirements. You will be working with complex multi-products and multi-sites projects, coordinating our multi-disciplinary technical teams and ensuring process consistency and adherence to the customer global SUT strategy.
The team is looking forward to shaping the future with you. This position is available for full-time. This is a position that requires up to 80% (3 days per week) on- site presence at our customer in the Wallis region, Switzerland.

Grow with us – Your Responsibilities

• Actively contribute to sales growth in Single Use Technology (SUT) by identifying new opportunities at customer site

• Collaborate with customer SU coordinators for setting up standardized processes at customer site

• Ensure local SUT project execution by driving and coordinating technical activities (work closely with customer SU coordinators, Sartorius Strategic Account team, Product Management and Product Development)

• Contribute to all SUT projects for the dedicated customer site, including interaction with Integrated Solutions department

• Support sales and customer in the ramp up and tech transfers

• Actively support the sales team and customer on site by executing trials, troubleshooting and training activities

• Feedback customer needs and challenges and actively contribute to continuous improvement for the customer dedicated site

 

What will convince us

• Master’s degree in life sciences, ideally in biotechnology or bioprocess engineering

• Strong experience in bioprocess development | bioprocess manufacturing support or in a similar function

• Relevant technical knowledge and extensive biopharma industry knowledge, particularly in single use technologies

• Capable of working independently and collaboratively within an international matrix-based organization and with external customers

• Able to manage and resolve complex issues

• Excellent communication skills in English – German is a plus
