As we continue to grow and expand our business, we are looing for a talented individual to join us as a Manager – Product Lifecycle Management. 

Based in our regional office in Singapore, the incumbent will be accountable for the coordinated and disciplined management of pharmaceutical products throughout their entire lifecycle across the ASIA region, from late‑stage development and launch transition to growth, maturity, optimization, and saturation.

The role exists to lead to ensuring products remain supply‑reliable, cost‑effective, compliant, and operationally fit‑for‑purpose at every stage of their lifecycle, while driving out avoidable risks, inefficiencies, and complexity. This is achieved through strong cross‑functional coordination, structured lifecycle governance, and lead to drive timely decisions at different stages.

As regional PLM process owner, the position establishes and maintains common lifecycle management process, tools, and review mechanisms across Asian markets, ensuring alignment with global policies while accommodating local regulatory, commercial, and operational requirements. The role acts as a key integrator between Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Technical Operations, Finance, and Commercial functions to translate lifecycle strategy into executable actions.

What you will do

A. Product Lifecycle Governance & Transparency

  • Own and govern regional Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) for Asia across all stages:
    • Introduction / Launch
    • Growth
    • Maturity
    • Optimization
    • Saturation
  • Define lifecycle stages including:
    • Clear criteria
    • Decision frameworks
    • Governance requirements at each stage
  • Drive lifecycle recommendations and escalations, ensuring:
    • Timely decision-making
    • Execution accountability across data owners
  • Develop and maintain a Product Lifecycle Dashboard covering:
    • Strategic, high-risk, and supply-critical products
    • Lifecycle stages, risks, assumptions, and action plans
  • Lead regular lifecycle review forums to:
    • Align cross-functional priorities
    • Manage trade-offs and decisions
  • Ensure lifecycle decisions are:
    • Properly documented
    • Clearly communicated
    • Consistently executed across markets

B. KPI & Performance Accountability

  • Lead execution of approved projects ensuring:
    • Right quality, cost, time, and launch volume
  • Drive operational efficiency through:
    • Optimized batch sizes
    • Minimization of obsolescence and write-offs
  • Optimize supply network design for:
    • Cost efficiency
    • Agility
    • Capacity across lifecycle stages
  • Leverage data to improve:
    • Timeliness
    • Quality of lifecycle decisions

C. Launch Transition & Lifecycle Stabilization

  • Act as regional coordinator transitioning products from NPI to steady-state lifecycle management
  • Monitor and stabilize post-launch performance across:
    • Supply
    • Quality
    • Financials
    • Operations
  • Coordinate corrective actions for post-launch issues, including:
    • Supply disruptions
    • Demand volatility
    • Cost deviations
    • Compliance risks
  • Capture and embed lessons learned into:
    • PLM processes
    • NPI governance

D. Supply, Cost & Complexity Optimization

  • Drive lifecycle-based initiatives to:
    • Improve supply resilience
    • Reduce cost of goods and landed cost
    • Simplify SKU, packaging, and portfolio complexity
  • Represent Supply Chain in NPI upstream evaluations, including:
    • CMO strategy
    • Site/network changes
    • Packaging and sourcing decisions
  • Partner with Finance to assess:
    • Cost evolution
    • Margin impact
    • Financial trade-offs

E. Change, Risk & Obsolescence Management

  • Coordinate implementation of lifecycle-related changes involving:
    • Product, process, supplier, site, and artwork updates
  • Proactively identify lifecycle risks such as:
    • Aging products and declining demand
    • Regulatory changes
    • Supply fragility and obsolescence
  • Support Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and mitigation strategies
  • Manage end-of-life (EOL) processes by ensuring:
    • Early planning
    • Controlled execution
    • Cross-functional alignment

F. Stakeholder & Governance Management

  • Serve as the regional PLM interface between global teams and Asia markets
  • Consolidate lifecycle insights into structured inputs for:
    • SCM leadership
    • Regional governance forums
  • Enable data-driven decision-making with:
    • Robust data
    • Cross-functional collaboration
  • Build strong partnerships across:
    • Supply Chain
    • Quality
    • Regulatory
    • Finance
    • Commercial teams
  • Represent Asia in global projects and programs, sharing:
    • Best practices
    • Continuous improvement initiatives

G. Additional Responsibilities

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

What you will bring to the role

  • A minimum of relevant Business/Science degree and/or a 7-10 years of Project Lifecycle Management (PLM).
  • Experience of working in accordance with quality standards e.g. GxP
  • Attention to details (follow through from scope to execution excellence) is key to success of the role
  • Strong mindset to continuous improvements on Process, Tools used in Project Life Cycle Management
  • Ability to work towards and deliver tight timelines to support ad-hoc business needs, and identify what helps are needed, with no compromise on quality
  • Ability to successfully collaborate with broader teams in an international environment
  • Ability to work autonomously, with Initiative and problem-solving skills with growth mindset
  • Be both flexible and comfortable in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Strong planning, organizing and coordinating skills
  • Experience in Project Management is preferred
  • Knowledge of packaging, graphics and printed components is preferred
  • Fluent in English, and preferably one other Asian language
  • Good Microsoft skills especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project as well as MS Visio
  • Understand ethics, compliance, and business conduct issues pertaining to Pharma industry
